Shelly serves on the boards of Common Sense Media (AZ), School Connect and Ignite Yoga Foundation. She is a member of Charter 100, Copper Club Arizona, and Women for Good (Phoenix). As chair of a tri-district political action committee, Shelly led more than two dozen winning campaigns, ensuring hundreds of millions of dollars for teaching positions and new school construction. She has been matched with Allysha as a "Big Sister" through Big Brothers Big Sisters for almost thirty years.
